Of me at the gun range shooting a Glock and an AK-47. I'm 115 lbs or so, 5 feet 4 inches tall and the last time I really did any shooting was when I was 10. That was with dad and I was using his 22 rifle.
I had a great time, though. I thought they were going to be more scary than I had imagined that they would be, but I got over that fear pretty quickly. It helped that I had great instruction, too. Someone that really knows his way around guns and how to instruct people.
First, it was to see where I was shooting by shooting at a smaller target towards the top of the target. Then it was to shoot at the X. After I started doing pretty good with that, it was faster shooting, and then one at the head. After that was done, we did what he calls the Zipper. That's where you squeeze the trigger 4 times and let the gun shoot up. I did really well with that one, too. My spread, over all, wasn't that far off of the X in the target.
Needless to say, that was a lot of fun and I look forward to doing it again. Next time, I will have to get some pictures of me shooting a gun that is about half my size. Geez, you know, those things are heavy?! I still think it's funny that little old me was out there with an AK-47. If you only knew how funny that looked! And how awesome it felt to PWN those guns! I'm definitely going to have to get one for myself one day, a Glock or something to that effect, and go shooting more.
Anyhow... birthday party time and picking up my instructor. Fun times!
